All-American Moving falls to the Elks 8-5, dropping them out of 1st and looking at the tail fire of the B's Nest. The Elks post their 5th straight and have moved right back into the fight for the final A playoff spot.

Buckle up and keep your arms and legs inside the ride, this A/B Division is getting exciting.

Division C/D

Things became close again in the C/D, as ODB came to play against Joe & Joe. Making all the plays they needed to make and stringing some clutch hits together, the ODB clan showed they are still a team to be watched for the C Division playoffs.

Deadheads over Dodgers 21-7:  Deadheads sustain 4 injuries and overcome shaky beginning and continue to roll with a dominant Offensive display.  Tony L. , Pitching for Mike F. gave up 3 in the first but settled down nicely, scattering just 4 more over the last 8 frames. The Deadhead attack ,included multiple extra basehits by multiple players,in route to a two Touchdown victory.

Fireside Edge Knights 15-13. Playing shorthanded the Knights played with heart and determination and made it a close game. Leading 6-5 after 4 innings, Fireside laid an assault when ahead with 4 Hr’s in game and other place hits. Getting 8 runs in bottom of 6th for a 15-10 lead. Then Knight’s Bobby shut them down after that. Knights got 8 runs back in the 6th,7th and 8th but when down in 9th falling 2 runs short.  Mitch Saull hitting star for Knights hitting the Cycle and 6 RBI and fielding star with a number great running catches in center and Billy Alter added 4 hits and a homer.

Mavericks show they came to play today, taking it to the Rockhounds in a pivotal game that may change the season for the Mavericks playoff positioning. Managers Ken Enderley and Morgan Tighe had their boys at the top of their game Sunday against a very deceptive Rockhound team.

The Panthers, keep pace defeating the Blazers 14-4 to stay in the hunt for the top spot in the D Division playoff race. Panthers finally get to 500  after beating the blazers today 14-4. It was a close battle until the 7th inning when the Panthers rallied for 9 runs against a tough pitcher in Eric M. Leading the way was Mark M. who went 4 for 4 continuing his torrid hitting. The biggest hit of the game came from Tommy C. as he helped his own cause clearing the bases with a double in the 7th. Another clutch performance by the battery of Tommy and Mikey along with a stubborn Panthers defense kept the blazers from mounting a comeback. Great team effort all around

With 4 weeks to play, it is not unrealistic to for Fireside or the Blazers to make a run at the last C Division playoff spot as well.  Good luck to all teams in the final months of the regular season.
