Division C/D
In the C/D Division there are more scenarios in play for C Division playoffs taking place in the last wek of regular season, then beer choices on Sunday at the after-game events.
Joe & Joe qualify for the A Dvision with a win over the Deadheads. DH is still in the running for a top spot as they play the Hibernians in the finale, and well anything can happen on any given Sunday.
Fireside showing some flame vs smoke, light up the Sunday morning sky with some hot bats. Taken down top seed Angels 22-15. This leaves the Angels fighting for 2nd, based on their head-to-head record against front runner Joe & Joe. Angels hosts those pesky Panthers, winners of 5 in a row, next week at Congers Lake.
Panthers continue to play well as a team beating the Mavericks 26-7. This was the second game in a row, where the whole team contributed to the win with strong infield play by Ray, Tanner and Mark W, and Mark M in center with a few diving catches. Everyone in the batting contributed to the scoring. The battery of Tom and Mikey continue to provide a strong combination.
Hibernians keep pace and the pressure on with a decisive 15-2 victory over the Knights. They play the Deadheads in the finale. A DH win could, coupled with ODB and Angels wins could push the HIbs in the D Division playoffs. Sunday will be interesting
Good luck to all teams in the final weekend.
