Thunder 20-3 Over Triad: Phil Valenza JR and Jeff Lieberman led the hitting with 4 hits each. Phil with 3 RBIs and Jeff with 2.  Matt Perdue, Danny Clemente, Tom Guarino and Ron Gannello all with 3 hits with Ron and Tom each with a HR and 3 RBIs each.  Matt Perdue led with 5 RBIs via a pair of triples. Everyone had a hit.  Danny Clemente pitched the complete game.

 

Eagles lose cliff hanger, 9 - 7 to Pearl River Saloon:  Spotting the PR Saloon and 8-0 lead after 4 innings, the Eagles made a comeback scoring 1,1,2, and 3 runs in the last 4 innings before falling short by 2.  For the Eagles,  Billy M was  3-5, 3 runs, RBI,  Chris S was  2-3, run, walk, RBI,  hot hitting  Steve V was  2-4, walk  and  Neil M was  2-5,  2 RBI. The Eagles drew 11 walks, with Dario D'A netting 3, and Eddie V had 2. The Eagles left 16 men on base in the tough loss.
