[Field reporting from Little Birdy Wire Services]:  It took nearly half  season, but the newest team in the league, Parley finally knotched their first win with a 16-8 victory of the Knights.  Welcome to the Legue gents!

   Break out the brooms as the Heads take Two from O.D.B, rolling to their 5th straight. It wasn’t easy, as those old dirty bastards put up quite a fight.  Eric started us off in the first game with a lead off double, scoring on Mike’s ensuing single. We never looked back. Down 8-7 in the 5th inning of the nightcap,Eric , again got us started with a bases loaded single,knocking in what proved to be the game winning runs.
 Big blasts from ; Larry (triple),Eli( double and monster H.R), Nedward (Triple), with Doubles by ; Eric,Brandon, Tom,Mike and Tony. Adam had 4 hits and Nate added 3 of his own. Tom was his usual self on the mound. Great job Heads. Good games- O.D.B . It was a great Father’s Day.   Next week we return home from our West Coast trip to face Barry and his heavy hitting Blazers. [Field reporting by Basso News, Bar and Grill]: After losing to the Dodgers in Round 1, the Eagles bounced back with an 11-8 win in Round 2. George V was winning pitcher hurling 4 scoreless inns before the D-men broke through. Joe R (2 rbi) and Ed K (run, rbi) led all hitters with 3 hits and joined with 2 hit agents - Chris P, Brian U, Ira S (2 rbi), Charlie F and Brian Galvin; Craig V had 1-2, 2 runs, 2 walks, rbi too. After losing to the Dodgers in Round 1, the Eagles bounced back with an 11-8 win in Round 2.
