[Knights walkoff againmst Deadheads - RBodnar Reporting]: Another walk-off win for the Knights over the Deadheads, 10-9.  Bobby Knights started. The DH got to him at the top of first with 2 runs.   Then Bobby shut them down for 5 innings (but they got one run in the 5^th). Knights then broke through in the 3^rd and 4^th for 4 runs to go ahead. And another 3 runs in the bottom 6^th.  For a 7 -3 lead for the Knights.   The heat got to Bobby and Knight’s Mitch Saul came in between them, giving up 4 runs to DH to tie the game.  In the bottom 8^th Knights when ahead with 2 runs. The DH is equal in the top of the 9^th. Set the stage for the walk-off. Chris Franklin got a hit and then Nat pitch run.   Then, Knights Chris Szklany blasts a triple to center, and Nat just walks home with the win for the Knights and a Win for Mitch Saul.  Hitting stars for the Knights are Jim Furnari (with 3 hits and 4 RBI), Mitch Saul (3 hits), and Chris Franklin (with 3 hits and 3 RBI). And Szklany's big hit in the 9^th.  Both teams played well. 

 

[Eagles edge Dodgers to claim 2nd place - ABasso Reporting]: Having clinched 3rd place last week, the Eagle's march to 1st, clinched 2nd place vs their Nemesis Dodgers by 4 runs. Brian U a hot Bird, batting third in average 614, was 3-4; Vic G moved to fifth 577, with 2 walks; Dennis T, DH, 3-3, rbi.    Batting new spot, 2nd, Mike L, 1-1, 2 walks, 2 rbi; same for Charlie the fishman, moved to 6th, 2-3, 3 runs, walk, and he runs for himself, (Skipper says until he gets thrown out); Skipper does it again with the right line-up; 2 hit agents: Craig V (BA moves up 7th week in row), and Vinny P; while 2 RBI agents: Mike L, Chris P, and Craig V.  

Game Coat is No One; Hero Game - Jeff L, hauled in high drive to RF fence, caught up to it, stretched arms, catch, tumble, arm glove in air, OUT; fence ok; jeff got aspirin. The Eagles' Albatross is that they continue to give easy outs via fly, and pop ups, 13 this game. The Skipper called Hitting Class Sunday, 745 pm.
