2026 Season - Week 4 - Games Summaries and Write-Ups (05-03)
The games resume after a rain-out the prior week. Here are the games summaries as reported from the field:
Division 1-A
In a nail-biter, Eye Adventure holds strong to edge out the Angels, 14-13. Eye Adventure stays one game out of the top spot. The Angels drop to the bottom of the four team race in Div 1-A.
Division 1-B
The revamped Sparky's Diner, convincingly wins over the always pesky Mustangs. All teams are tied for 1st place in Div 1-B after the results of this game.
Intra Division 1
Elks defeated Hibernians, 29-10 to stay 1 game out of 1st Place in Div 1-A. The Hibernians lose moves them into a 4 way tie in Division 1-B. The season is still young lads. This game was one for the record books, 5th highest run scored by one team in a game and the 9th highest single game scoring by 2 teams.
Defending D1-A Champs hand the rookie D1 team, All-American Masonry a not so polite welcome to the league with a strong 18-3 victory. The Still sits on top of D1-A, remaining undefeated so far.
Division 2
The Eagles came out swinging scoring 6 runs in the top of the first, but Thunder 2.O chipped away tying the score at 7 in the fourth. From the 5th to the 8th Thunder2.O took a 3-run lead. In the 9th the Eagles scored 2 runs but fell short. Giulio completed 5 strong innings for the win and Jose got the save pitching the last 4 innings. Thunder2.O recorded 24 hits. Our hit leaders were Jonathan and Edwin both 4 for 4, Joel A 3 for 4 and Mike,Jose and Ali each with 2 hits. Our rbi leaders were Andre with 3 and Jose with 2. Deadheads win!(R.IP John Sterling).Deadheads win! The Deadheads WINNN! After starting the season with two lackluster performances the Heads got into the win column with a resounding victory over the “Hooligans “. In all,12 Heads had, at least one hit and one R.B.I. Leading the assault were former servicemen, Brandon (triple and Homer ) and Eli( 4-4,with 2Homers). Lee,Orlando,and Sam pitched in with 3 hits,,each. Stellar pitching from Tom and solld all around Defense rounded out the victory. Chris and company - always a pleasure. It was a fun game. Good luck the rest of the way. Dodgers remain undefeated and tied with the Thunder atop the Divison with close call 10-8 victory over ODB, still looking for their 1st victory of 2026. Despite the 0-3 start by ODB, their RD is only -17. They are bound to break out any weekend.
The Blazers aided by numerous long balls, came back late after dropping an early lead to edge out the Swingers 18-14. The Blazers and Swingers lie among the masses in 2nd place in D2.
Parlays put a big, 1st W on the board this week with a 29-17 victory over the Mavericks. This game was one for the record books as the 12th highest score in a game by 1 team Div 2 and the 6th highest scoring game by 2 team in a D2 season.
Panthers move into the middle of the 2nd place mess with a close call win over the Knights, 16-14.
