Eagles take season series over Halligans with 4 run win. The Birds... score runs first inning and never trailed. Although the Hals made a late innings rally and kept things lively, 6-0, 10-4, 15-6, 18-6, 18-12, 21-14, 21-16, The Eagles' fans with front row M level seats started drinking coffee not beer.

The 20 hit attack featured a Grand Slam by rookie OF Mike Romanello, (4-5, 4 runs, 5 rbi), and Chris Pellegreinelli (4-5, 3 runs, rbi). Both Charlie Fisher, and Mike Leote went 3 hits, and OF Craig Vansise (2-5, runs, rbi) continued his hot swinging, now 10-16 in last 5 games raising his BA 300 points. Not to be out done, brother George also went 2-5, 3 runs, 2 rbi too. Joining the 2-hit group was Ed Kelly, Joe Raia, Victor Grullen, and Louis Vidal 2-5, run, rbi. Louis had a feature never to be done again as he HR'ed to way-deep to left center but due to bad right muscle pull, hopped into 3rd base.   Those railing-seeing Eagles started yelling HR more and more until up on the score board was lite HR (but he still had to stay at third base).

Defense was much better, 1 error all game. Pitching held up until 7th inning and relief Victor Grullen pitched solid ball and secured 3 straight outs in top 9th.
