Remembering Rafael Luciano Sr. - Dodgers

On June 16, 2023 (Father's Day Weekend), one of our Rockland Senior Softball brothers and our friend Rafael Luciano passed away. The League members are saddened by the loss of one of our original members to our softball family.  

Softball was Rafael's love and passion.  He had the joy and honor of play softball with his son, Ralph Jr.  He also loved spending 28 years playing ball with Hank Heitner (League Founder) and the rest of the Dodger’s. The Dodgers were part of his life and an extension of his family. 

Rafael was married for 56 years to his beloved Maria. He was a proud father of 3, and grandfather of 7, who filled his heart with love and joy every day.   He will be forever missed, but not forgotten. Rest in Peace #23.
